Anonymous allowances are counted per client address over a rolling 24 hours. Free accounts are counted per account. Fair use for reports means up to 10,000 per hour, which no normal server comes close to. Every API response carries X-RateLimit headers.
Why reporting needs an account
A blocklist is only useful if people can trust it. Requiring a signed-in reporter means every report is accountable, mistakes can be withdrawn by the person who made them, and nobody can flood the list from a rented botnet. An account costs nothing and takes one email.
What every plan gets
IP lookup
Score, report history, categories, reverse DNS, country, city, owning network and Tor exit status for any IPv4 or IPv6 address. Works for hostnames and CIDR blocks too.
Look one upConfidence score
A 0 to 100 figure from independent reports in the last 30 days, weighted towards recent reports. One reporter cannot push an address to the top on their own. How it works.
Network check
Every reported address inside a /16 (IPv4) or /48 (IPv6), to judge a hosting range before trusting it.
Check a networkCorrections
Reporters can withdraw their own reports instantly, and anyone listed by mistake can ask for a review.

Building isipsafe data into a firewall, a managed security service, a SIEM product or a hosting platform needs a commercial licence; the free plans only cover protecting your own systems. Enterprise covers OEM and resale rights, private or on-premises hosting, full data feeds, and support with agreed response times. Tell us what you are building and we will put together a proposal.
