Zapier, Make, Pipedream and Tines
Call the API from no-code automation and SOAR platforms.
Any platform that can make an HTTP request can use isipsafe. The two calls you need, and where to put them on the common platforms.
The two requests
| Check | Report | |
|---|---|---|
| Method | GET | POST |
| URL | https://isipsafe.com/api/v1/check | https://isipsafe.com/api/v1/report |
| Parameters | Query: ip, optional maxAgeInDays | Form body: ip, categories, comment |
| Header | Authorization: Bearer sl_your_key_here (optional for checks, required for reports) | |
| Result | data.abuseConfidenceScore, 0 to 100 | 200, or 429 if you reported it in the last 15 minutes |
Where to put them
- Zapier: a Webhooks by Zapier action, event GET or POST. Put the header under Headers; for reports, set Payload Type to
form. - Make: the HTTP › Make a request module. For reports, choose body type application/x-www-form-urlencoded; turn on Parse response to map
data.abuseConfidenceScore. - Pipedream: a Node.js step:
export default defineComponent({ async run({ steps }) { const r = await fetch("https://isipsafe.com/api/v1/check?ip=" + encodeURIComponent(steps.trigger.event.ip), { headers: { Authorization: "Bearer " + process.env.ISIPSAFE_KEY }, }); return (await r.json()).data; }, }); - Tines: an HTTP Request action with the URL, method and header above. Keep the key in a credential and reference it as
CREDENTIAL.isipsafe. - Shuffle, Splunk SOAR, Cortex XSOAR and other SOAR tools: their generic HTTP or REST integration works the same way. Tools with an AbuseIPDB integration whose URL can be changed can use
https://isipsafe.com/api/v2instead (the v2 API takes AbuseIPDB requests).
For n8n, there is a step-by-step page.
